I have been a personal trainer for over 6 years; training in the DC Metropolitan area. My passion for health and fitness is what gave me the desire and dedication to help others, so I established Desire & Dedication Personal Fitness Center, LLC in 2012. My knowledge and experience in fitness training allows my clients to train without injury and successfully meet their fitness goals. As a personal trainer and instructor, my objective is to provide a comprehensive approach to training so clients understand not only what they are doing, but how they can duplicate it on their own.
MP: When did you begin your journey into fitness?
At 10 years old, I was playing basketball and boxing; so fitness was an important part of my development as an athlete.
MP: What is fitness in your terms?
Treating the mind, body, and soul.
MP: What inspired you to begin the journey into fitness?
I was always quick on my feet and had good stamina, but I wanted to get stronger and bigger. I began working out intensely, and got the results I wanted. I became so invested in fitness that I wanted to help others.
MP: What is the biggest misconception about fitness and personal trainers?
People think results are supposed to come over night…but it takes hard work and dedication. They think that personal trainers are judgmental and aggressive…but we only have your best interest at heart; we are here to help inspire, motivate, and teach; YOU have to want it and put in the work.
MP: When did you become a personal trainer?
MP: Would you consider fitness to be your form of art?
Yes, most definitely. I am passionate about fitness, and great at what I do. I am always researching and studying to develop my skill.

Desire & Dedication Personal Fitness Center was developed to address the needs of people who want to overcome the reasons that have caused them to ignore their health and wellness.
Our fitness programs include a lot of functional and core training, as well as high intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts. Our programs are created for each client and we make it fun, as well as an educational process every step of the way.
