ARTISTRY SPOTLIGHT: Dez Carter

"Raised in Baltimore County, Maryland, Dezmond "Dez" Carter, is a Graphic Designer first, and a Photographer Second. In the Summer of 2016, Dez opened his services to the public and became a designer for hire. Under the brand name "Designs by Dez", he uses his talents to build, connect and aid local businesses, events, and talents in, and around the DMV.

His journey as a graphic designer began about 7 years ago when he applied to a magnet school by the name of Western School of Technology and Environmental Science. From this point he learned the fundamentals of Graphic Design that would further lead him down the path that he is currently taking.

So far he has obtained his Associates Degree in Art, Design and Interactive Media and is currently enrolled at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) in pursuit of a Bachelor ofFine Art Degree in Graphic Design".
