EVENT REVIEW: Moguls In Media DC

I had the pleasure of covering the 'MOGULS IN MEDIA' event this past thursday and it was everything and then some. Combined with talented panelists, great atmosphere, great food and great drinks, allowed for a strong room of networking.

The event consisted of Panelists:

• Patrice Tartt of BLACK ENTERPRISE

• Candice Nicole of CANDICE NICOLE PR

• Regan Farley of MY PR AGENCY

• Mikea Turner of WUSA 9

• Terrence Nelson TVOne PRODUCER

And last, but not least the one and only Darcel Laurie owner and founder of 'MOGULS IN MEDIA' which is geared to help those the in media field and mentoring in the advancement of businesses within the entertainment realm.

The event started off with each panelists introducing themselves and their start in their field. From there the magic began. Each panelist shared their journey and the ins and outs of this business and what ways they navigated to get to the point where they are at today.

Throughout the event we were entertained as we enjoyed the musical stylings from one of the hottest DJ's out , mister DJ Schemes himself graced us on the One's & Two's.

All in all the event was well planned, well thought out and well presented. I enjoyed myself and learned a lot of tips to take with me through my journey as a journalist.

Now the rating time.........................I'd rate this event a 10/10, the mission of the night was met and the goal for the evening went unnoticed, which was to help fellow entrepreneurs reach their goal of taking over the entertainment business.
