EVENT REVIEW : Servpal Launch
I was invited to this wonderful event through two beautiful young ladies, Janelle of Janelle Z Beauty and Mariah Oates of The PR Alliance and Candice Nicole PR, and lets just say I am so glad they invited me or I would have missed out on such a great launch.
"Servpal is a website that allows clients to easily book and pay for appointments with their favorite personal image and beauty professionals/freelancers. Currently, Servpal promotes the following: hair stylists, barbers, makeup artists, personal trainers, tattoo artists, photographers, wedding planners, manicurists, and other beauty professionals/freelancers. This new platform was created by Andy Nevers and has been in the works for the past two years. Andy is a Veteran of the United States Marines and during the time of his transitioning out of the service, he found that he and his fellow transitioning vets needed assistance with their image. After searching high and low for various individuals, he thought it would be great to have one location where they could find what they needed and Servpal was created."
The event was held at 'Living Room,DC' which is in the heart of Downtown DC. The event was a packed event, everyone from beauty artists to make up artists to models to bloggers were all in attendance to see this great brand launch in front of our eyes.
The event began promptly at 6 pm with an opening from Melina Campoverde, hosted by 93.9 WKYS FM 'The Fam In the Morning Host Danni Star with DJ Cyd on the one's and two's.
The bar created amazing drinks which also helped keep the vibe grooving and moving.
In addition Harley Morgan, CEO and Founder of ROE (Righteous Ones Entertainment) provided great models and great looks to be walked and showcased at the launch with Fashion Designer King O providing the great fashions of the night.
You were able to see such a diverse group of socialites all in one room and it was amazing to see.
Designer, Make
Up Artist & radio Personality Janelle Z was also in attendance and provided her collection, which was an amazing hit. I was able to get two male bracelets which I must say are soooooooo dope lol.
The Real Makeup Artists of DC were too in the building providing great faces for the models who in fact killed the runway segment of the launch.
The event also had an amazing photobooth on the red carpet provided by Pixilated Photo, which gave all the selfie lovers in the room a chance to be front and center of their own photo booth.
*FYI I kept getting in line to take photos because it was so cool, so the photo idea was a huge success*
CEO and Founder Andy Nevers greeted everyone and graciously made his way around the room to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves and from the looks of it, everyone enjoyed themselves and really had a good time.
The event itself gave beauty, fashion, hair, makeup, runway, and creativity and all these things are Servpal which is why this launch was such a huge success.
"I am here to help showcase a brand and connect with great people and show my talent to the forefront, events like this help us and that's why I am here" - New Catalog Model JB
