EVENT REVIEW: Remy Martin Producers Series (Season 4 Preliminary DC)
I had the pleasure of attending this exclusive event 'REMY MARTIN Producers Series (Season 4 DC)' and I must say I was quite impressed. This once in a lifetime opportunity that REMY MARTIN provides for upcoming and hungry producers is something that is currently taking over the nation. Dedicated to bringing limelight to starving producers looking for a chance to get in the door has become a staple in the hip hop rap culture.
#REMYPRODUCERS is the epic way to bringing raw new talent to the forefront and allowing great critiques from some on the hottest to ever do it . case in point HIP HOP LEGEND Pete Rock. Yes I said Pete Rock record producer, DJ and emcee, who rose to prominence in the 90s as one half of the critically acclaimed group Pete Rock & CL Smooth.
Hosted by Top DJ & Media and Radio Personality Jay Claxton we got to see the full essence of star power throughout the whole room. Of course as mentioned dedicated to showcasing the skills of upcoming producers, we saw the talents of these three brothers below:
Each contestant were given two rounds to demonstrate their producer capabilities and judged by some of DC's Finest such as DJ Quicksilva and Danni Starr from WKYS 93.9 FM show "The Fam In The Morning" and of course the legend himself Pete Rock.
With a packed house at the new attraction Soundcheck, everything worked together to make this event go off without a hitch.
After two rounds of listening to some of the dopest beats , Mr. Taco took the crown coming in first place, Makavelee coming in second and DJ Young Pro ending in third place. All in all the event was great, the drinks were great, the music was great and the vibes were great.

Taking away from the event I gained an even more respect for the brand REMY MARTIN whose brand is now giving back and helping those with exposure and connecting talent while providing a platform to be seen and heard from the greats.
