ALBUM REVIEW: Fat Trel "Nightmare on E Street 2"

Fat Trel is back and better than ever. Fat Trel is in his rare form, giving us the music that made us fall in love with him in the first place. Over a decade later, Fat Trel gives us the sequel to the 2012 smash Mixatpe "Nightmare on E Street", and 2023 Trel sounds more powerful than ever.

The Washington DC Area is quite happy as the people's champ has another banger for us just in time for the summer season and from what I experienced, this project is it, but get ready as he mentioned more music will be coming.

The 11 song, 30-minute project take us on a ride through fire lyrics, epic productions and massive star power as Trel asserts why he is still at the top of his game. Listening to this project Trel sounds confident beyond measure and you can tell he is in his groove. Featuring productions from TayDaProducer, Bangladeesh, Jusscookinup, Yetty, Yung Lan, Crankshop, and more speaks to the quality of sound we are getting with this project and with names like that, should always excite the listener as you will guaranteed, be in for a treat.

The project starts off with "Art" and the bangers begin immediately after. The standout tracks from the project are "N****a What", "Ambition", "Like That" and "Kill". This album even sees Trel experimenting with R&B, the fan favorite is sure to be "Love u Right", which many of the ladies have deemed their new summer vibe anthem.

My favorite track on the LP is "Elite", the I Am Northeast assisted track has held the repeat spot on my playlist for hours now. This season I am in, it's all about being in my bag and this song speaks that in its highest level. This song represents Northeast, DC at its finest and they spit on track effortlessly, so yes, I have found my track to start the summer and it is Elite.
