EVENT REVIEW: Complex x Patrón Tequila PRESENTS "In The Spirit DC"
We all love Complex and we definitely all love Tequila, but these two joined forces in a unique way to celebrate the hard working Influencers and Artists of Entertainment and did it uniquely by showcasing love and respect for the cities of which they came from. Of course I hail from the Chocolate City of Washington, DC and the head honchos running this entertainment thing are none other Ms. Gia Peppers & Raheem Devaughn.

Gia Peppers is a Media Maven, you have seen her everywhere from Washington Wizards to BET to Black Girl Podcast to VH1, this list goes on. Her spirit and drive to win is what sets her apart from the fray, but its her humbling spirit that continues to open doors for her amazing craft. And we all know the Love King, Raheem Devaughn himself, Grammy nominated Recording Artist who speaks nothing but life into DC with every move he makes, so it makes sense to celebrate this dynamic figure Mr. Devaughn.
Held at Tico to an intimate crowd, we were able to see exactly why these two are on top and vibe out with them to celebrate a night of great vibes and success. From the food (often times I stayed by the kitchen to get first dibs lol) to the drinks to the music to the art to the atmosphere, all worked together to create a magnificent spirit of greatness for the night. So yes we were in fact IN THE SPIRIT.
