VIDEO SPOTLIGHT: Projex Santana "Julyninth"

With his latest single, “Julyninth (Put This Ring On),” Projex Santana delivers a refreshing take on R&B that feels soulful, intentional, and unapologetically authentic. Blending the nostalgia of traditional R&B with a contemporary edge, Santana is carving out a sound that deserves some serious attention.

But what truly captivated The Media Prince was the song's visual. There's something special about an artist who understands that music isn't just meant to be heard; it's meant to be experienced. The visual drew me in and made me appreciate the artistry behind the record even more.

In a musical landscape where so much can sound repetitive, Projex Santana is a reminder that R&B doesn't need to be reinvented to feel new. It simply needs artists who aren't afraid to give it their own identity. And if “Julyninth” is any indication of what's to come, this is one artist I'm keeping on my radar.

The DMV has another voice worth listening to, and this time, the rhythm comes with a little romance.
