#TMPCheckout: The Media Prince Takes Los Angeles (BET Experience Weekend)

I had the opportunity to cover this years BET Experience and Awards 2017. This was a monumental mark in my career as a journalist as my website in only two years, has garnered over 2 million hits and a following the spans across the seas to various countries. Though the opportunity came very quickly and sporadic, this trip to LA was something I will never forget.

I arrived Friday June 23rd and immediately I got to my room, showered, changed and was back out the door to capture Remy Ma being honored by MC Lyte's 'Hip Hop Sisters' 5th Anniversary Fundraiser. Take a peek at the pictures below;

The event was nothing short of amazing. We heard stories of positive black males and females who made triumphant feats in their fields and careers and it was a honor to capture greats of their caliber and for them to be so humble and willing to talk and share advice on how to make it in this industry or any industry.

It was incredible the room was filled with stars from Safaree to Papoose of course to Amina

Once this event ended myself & The Fix TV (we collab for the weekend) jetted over to cover the red Carpet of Angel Brinks Fashion Show , Hosted By DJ Khaled, Take a look below:

The Show was amazing and eventful (the Safaree situation we saw first hand), nevertheless it was an amazing opportunity to speak with so many celebrities and to get shouted out by some of the best in the game. By time we were done, we were all completely tired and headed to our rooms for the busy day that came next.

The next day was filled with fashion shows, genius talks with Issa Rae, Charlamagne Tha God, Tracee Ellis Ross, Reginae Carter , and PNB Rock the list goes on, Saturday was so jammed packed and Sunday omg, was beyond hectic because everything started early due to us being on east coast time, take a look below:
