#TheMediaPrinceTakeLA (Blog Chronicle Review)

Los Angeles, the city of possibilities and the city where dreams come true, and may I add that is exactly what happened for me while there. TheMediaPrince.com & Smirnoff partnered and covered the entire weekend.

LA is always a great getaway for work and business, but this trip was even more epic than before and consistent non stop work.

I arrived Thursday, immediately at LAX I bumped into Coach K & Pee of Quality Control Music, they were so down to earth and appreciative of the support I bestowed upon them while picking up our bags from baggage claim. From there I went to one of favorite Chinese Restaurant 'Triple 8' because when in LA, you have to eat there. And just two seats away from me, I met Summerella who was even more dope in person and beyond humbled. By this time it was time to check in and get ready for events of the night.

I covered Kat Tatt's grand opening of her new tattoo shop that evening and it was beyond amazing to get to interview the people I watch every week on my TV and being able to be media in another state during one of the hottest weekends. The event was packed and endless stars made there way all in effort to see Kat's new venture.

As great as it was, once I got my interview with Kat, we jetted off to change and head to sunset to cover Recording Artist Rick Ross event that night, can we just say I was jet-lagged to the fullest.

Day two found us (Chris @skapvo , Chris @ludacvk3 & myself) getting up to retrieve Media Credentials for BET Awards & festivities and then on the move to "Pass The Torch" event which honored Recording Artist Kash Doll and Hip Hop Legend Kurtis Blow. The event itself was held in the fashion district and to a packed house all there to celebrate and turn up for Kash Doll, though I wished we could have stayed, we immediately had to leave, change and head to Michel'le 'Black and White' event where I got the chance to interview the one and only Luenell.

After wrapping up, we were about to grab dinner when I got a call from Media Mangy CEO Issac and invited me out Hollywood to cover Recording Artists Trina & La'Britney which offered many stars including Zell Swag and Bre-Z, day two concluded after this and we headed back to the room to edit and catch some zzz's for Fanfest the following day.

Day three saw us getting up early to head to Staples Center to cover everything BET fan fest, there I was sort after a lot due to my style of clothing. Everyone came up to me and talked and it was an amazing feeling, Sevyn Streeter, B Simone, Desiigner, Kway, and so many more!

We covered the Celebrity Basket Ball game and then we were off to get a taste of the many activation's BET had this year including: Shea Moisture, Coca Cola, AT&T, Diet Coke, Fashion Nova, Hit The Floor and more!

Did I mention they had food trucks galore, which is what was needed because us brothers got mad hungry and needed food before Mona Scott Genius Talk. From there we jetted to Beverly Hills to Boy London to "Toast To Salute" were we got to meet industry executives and meet and interview some dope Recording Artists such as Evaride and Qveen Herby.

The idea of getting dinner was next however, my good Media Friend of mine who resides in LA (Kiera @KieraSaidSo) invited us out to Ray J's album release Party on Sunset and I was beyond impressed at the level of elegance and everyone was in the building. Of course everything was closed so we hit up a 24-hour Popeyes, yes 24-hours, but Id never recommend it, I had to tell home girl to re fry everything , YUCK!!!!

Day three saw the BET Awards, of which you saw everywhere via BET, but of course on LA time everything was over early so we went to a private event in LA and vibed out for the night.

Day Four, I ended up having a photo shoot and some meetings then it was off to Raleigh North Carolina to handle more business with Smirnoff of which they helped Sponsor the weekend.

With this trip I learned a few things:

-Time Management

-I can handle Extensive work hours

-I am worthy enough to capture and give great interviews

-LA is the place I need to be

I had so much doubt last year with BET Weekend , however this year, GOD gave me strength and clarity and we knocked it out the ball park! If you missed this years event, you missed alot. I look forward to more years to come and I thank you all for reading and experiencing my journey.
