CYPHER SPOTLIGHT: PINKY THA RAPPER PUTS HER OWN SPIN ON CHERYL LYNN'S “ENCORE” PROVING NO BEAT IS OFF LIMITS!
Some rappers find their sound, others discover they can make just about any sound their own. Pinky Tha Rapper is making a strong case for the latter. Now, one thing about Pinky Tha Rapper? She's going to find her pocket, deliver her bars, and remind you that versatility is not just something you put in an artist biography. It's something you demonstrate every time the beat drops.
And this time, she's taking us on a musical trip down memory lane, putting her own lyrical spin on “Encore” by the legendary Cheryl Lynn. Yes, THAT Cheryl Lynn.
The timeless voice. The undeniable groove. The kind of classic that makes your auntie put her purse down, find the rhythm, and remind everybody she was outside long before Instagram existed. But while the original record carries its own musical legacy, Pinky approaches it with a fresh perspective, proving that great music doesn't have an expiration date. Sometimes, it just needs a new generation willing to explore it.
And Pinky? Oh, she's exploring!
Encore, indeed. We want another one!
